Dr. Cristina Persano is a Professor of Geosciences at the School of Geographical & Earth Sciences, University of Glasgow. Her research focuses on tectonic and landscape evolution using advanced thermochronometric techniques.

Her recent work explores exhumation processes in Tibet, South Africa, and the Carpathians, alongside Holocene sea-level changes via Scottish speleothems. She supervises PhD students Kang Xie and Chang Zhong.
