Cristina D'Imperio

Cristina D’Imperio is a Visiting Lecturer and Part-Time Instructor at the University of Pittsburgh’s Department of English within the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. She holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Edinburgh, where she also taught undergraduates. Her professional background includes teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to adult learners in Cairo, Egypt. Currently, she designs and teaches Composition courses and develops continuing education programs for professionals in engineering, architecture, and construction.

Her academic focus integrates literary scholarship with pedagogical innovation, emphasizing accessible education for diverse audiences. She has contributed to bridging literary studies with technical fields through specialized courseware.
