Cristiam Gil

Cristiam Gil is a Senior Researcher at the Hapag-Lloyd Center for Shipping & Global Logistics (CSGL) of Kühne Logistics University in Hamburg, Germany. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Universidad del Valle in Colombia and a Ph.D. in Engineering Systems from Universidad de Chile (2020). His expertise spans logistics, transportation systems, and sustainability in freight transport, with a focus on reducing CO2 emissions through vehicle renewal technologies.
