Craig Westling is an Assistant Professor at the Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine, serving as the Associate Dean for Health Sciences Education. He oversees professional master’s and certificate programs while teaching courses on ethics and health policy.

His research focuses on ethical conflicts in healthcare systems, particularly moral distress arising from evolving reimbursement and clinical care models. Westling bridges academic research and practical application through his work at The Dartmouth Institute (TDI) and as a community health volunteer at the Good Neighbor Health Clinic for over 20 years.
He previously led professional education initiatives at TDI and co-managed the Brookings-Dartmouth ACO Learning Network, facilitating nationwide ACO pilot implementations. Currently, he advises medical groups and startups in digital health, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and health equity.
