Maia L. Crawford

Maia L. Crawford is a Research Project Director at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice within the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. She joined TDI in 2019, overseeing research administration for projects such as an NIA-funded study on healthcare inequity in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Education:

• Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health
• Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College

Her research focuses on U.S. health system performance, low-value care, rural health disparities, and Medicaid-public health collaboration. Prior to TDI, she worked at the Center for Health Care Strategies, supporting state Medicaid programs in payment reforms and chronic disease prevention.
