Craig M. Kapp is a Clinical Professor of Computer Science at New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, within the Department of Computer Science. He holds an M.P.S. in Interactive Design & Digital Media from NYU (2010), an M.S. in Educational Technology from The College of New Jersey (2003), and a B.S. in Computer Science from The College of New Jersey (1999).
His research focuses on augmented reality (AR), data visualization, graphics, gaming, interactive media, and assistive technologies for people with disabilities. He has developed the A-Frame P5 AR library, which simplifies AR development using p5.js and A-Frame frameworks. Kapp has taught numerous courses since 2010, including 'Introduction to Computer Programming,' 'Web Development & Programming,' and special topics like 'Interactive Computing' and 'Museum Studies/CS Exhibit Prototyping.'
He has no listed scientific awards but is actively involved in academic and software development initiatives at NYU.
