Dr. Courtney W Hanna is a Sir Henry Dale Fellow at the Department of Physiology, Development and Neuroscience, University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on epigenetic mechanisms in gene regulation and their role in cell identity during placental and embryonic development. She is affiliated with the Loke Centre for Trophoblast Research and Cambridge Reproduction.
Research interests: Epigenetics, gene regulation, placental biology, maternal health, reproductive health, and stem cell dynamics. Her work investigates how epigenetic modifications target specific genomic regions during development and how these processes are deregulated in conditions like infertility or miscarriage.
