Dr. Courtney Quinn is an Assistant Professor of Sustainability Science at Furman University. She joined the faculty in 2024 and has been teaching since 2013, focusing on fostering intellectually challenging yet joyful classroom environments. Her research explores leadership in sustainability, food systems, place attachment, and critical thinking development. She co-founded the Sustainability Leadership Initiative (SLI) in 2021, a program uniting business and conservation leaders for cross-sectoral dialogue and experiential learning.
