John Quinn is the Henry Keith and Ellen Hard Townes Professor of Biology and Director of Environmental Studies at Furman University. He leads the CHESS Lab, focusing on interdisciplinary research addressing biodiversity conservation, soundscape ecology, and sustainable land management. His work integrates experimental, observational, and statistical techniques to inform decision-making in coupled human-natural systems.
