Courtney Arsenault is a Sessional Instructor in the Department of Theatre at MacEwan University, specializing in Music Theatre Performance. A multidisciplinary dance instructor, performer, and educator from Saint John, New Brunswick, she trained in Toronto and has worked extensively with east coast theatre and dance companies such as Connection Dance Works, Solo Chicken Productions, and Atlantic Ballet. Her teaching emphasizes technique, conditioning, and repertoire in a safe, challenging environment.
Research interests center on narrative-driven choreography in musical theatre, integrating props, costumes, and character development. She draws inspiration from choreographers like TOKYO, Kate Jablonski, and Kenny Ortega, as well as practices such as authentic movement and movement meditation.
