Courtney Addison

Courtney Addison is an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Capstone Coordinator in the Occupational Therapy Program at Presbyterian College. She serves as Student Support Coordinator and actively contributes to public health initiatives in rural communities and driver safety rehabilitation. Her clinical expertise spans acute care, assisted living, pediatrics, and orthopedics.

Education: B.S. Biology (Guilford College), M.S. (Wesley College), Doctor of Occupational Therapy (Nova Southeastern University). Early career included work as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from Brown Mackie College.

Research focuses on driver rehabilitation, combating human sex trafficking through advocacy, and animal-assisted therapy. Engages globally via Therapy Across Borders Group in Kenya, providing therapy services and advocacy for disability communities worldwide.
