معرفی
Costanza Anerdi is a Research Fellow at the Department of Environmental, Land, and Infrastructure Engineering (DIATI), Politecnico di Torino. She also serves as an external lecturer and teaching assistant in both DIATI and the Department of Structural, Building and Geotechnical Engineering (DISEG), contributing to multiple engineering programs including Civil, Building, and Environmental Engineering.
Her research spans sustainable infrastructure, concrete materials, and data-driven modeling in civil engineering. Key areas include smart concrete technologies, machine learning applications in material design, and innovative concepts such as hemp-fibre concrete for Martian structures. Her work bridges traditional structural engineering with modern computational and sustainable approaches.
Recent publications demonstrate a strong trend toward integrating artificial intelligence and multiphysics modeling in both civil and electrical engineering domains, particularly in material optimization and infrastructure sustainability. Her collaborative research focuses on practical applications in construction, transportation, and future space habitats.
Scientific Contributions:
- Co-developer of national patents: SMART & CONCRETE and SMART & CONCRETE 2.0
- Active contributor to data-driven modeling in structural and electrical systems
- Innovative research in green construction materials for terrestrial and extraterrestrial applications
She has advised or collaborated on academic projects such as Challenge@PoliTo by Firms - DSS for Sustainable Infrastructure Maintenance. Although no formal students are listed, she has served as a course collaborator in over ten academic offerings across structural design, reinforced concrete, and construction engineering, indicating significant educational involvement. She is actively engaged in research grants and industry-linked projects, particularly those involving sustainable infrastructure and smart materials.
Her work is associated with research teams focusing on sustainable construction, structural assessment, and smart materials innovation at Politecnico di Torino.
