Cory Sheeler

Cory Sheeler is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, affiliated with the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). He holds a DNP from UNC Charlotte and has been in this role for four years. His research focuses on emergency nursing, elderly nursing, and alcohol abuse prevention on college campuses.

Education: BS in Communications (East Carolina University, 1999), ADN from Queens University of Charlotte (2005), MSN/FNP from UNC Chapel Hill (2009), and DNP from UNC Charlotte (2019).

He is an Honors Faculty member (term ending June 2027) and affiliated with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
