Tiffany Jackson

Tiffany Jackson is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte), affiliated with the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). Her role includes teaching and clinical practice focused on palliative and hospice care. She holds a DNP from Chatham University, MSN from Duquesne University, and BSN from Waynesburg University.

Her research interests center on end-of-life care, palliative/hospice interventions for life-limiting diseases, advanced care planning, and reducing avoidable hospitalizations through symptom management. She received the 2022 UNC Innovative Fellow Award for expanding palliative care education in curricula.

Dr. Jackson collaborates with community partners to enhance population health clinical experiences and is active in organizations like the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association (HPNA) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her clinical practice emphasizes home-based care for terminal patients and their families.
