Cornilescu Alexandra

Cornilescu Alexandra is a Professor of Linguistics at the Department of English, University of Bucharest. She has held leadership roles including Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures (2004-2012) and Head of the English Department (1990-2004). Her research focuses on formal syntax, semantics, and Romanian/English linguistics. She has conducted postdoctoral work at Duke University, Ca'Foscari University of Venice, and University of California, Berkeley.
