Cornelious Traas

Cornelious Traas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Limerick. With expertise in pomology and apple pathology, his research focuses on the biochemical and nutritional properties of apple-derived products, particularly examining their anti-inflammatory and anti-platelet effects. He contributes to teaching in horticulture, plant science, and sustainable agriculture.
