Cornelia Horak

Cornelia Horak serves as a Lecturer at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna since February 2016, bringing extensive professional performance experience to her academic role.

Horak's pedagogical approach integrates 14 years of professional stage experience (1993-2007) from permanent engagements at Tiroler Landestheater, Vienna Volkoper, and Munich's Theater am Gärtnerplatz. She has performed over 50 roles across opera, operetta and musicals while collaborating with directors like Claus Guth and Robert Carsen. Her teaching emphasizes practical application through numerous CD productions and festival appearances across European opera houses.
