Nicole Tamburro

Nicole Tamburro is a soprano and lecturer specializing in singing and speech training at Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU). Since the summer semester 2025, she has been affiliated with the Institute for Musicology and Music Education, where she previously held a teaching position from 2002 to 2024. She also teaches recurrently at the Institute for Applied Theatre Studies and the GCSC (Giessen International Graduate Centre for the Humanities).

Her artistic career includes performances at renowned baroque and chamber music festivals, opera and operetta engagements across Europe, and participation in master classes with notable vocalists like Oren Brown and Edith Mathis. Tamburro contributes to music education through workshops and ongoing professional development in voice research.
