Corinne Rhodes is a Technical Instructor in Printmaking at Bennington College, where she has taught since Fall 2018. She also instructs at RISD and EFA-Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, and operates Cherry Press Printmaking Workshop in Rutland, MA—a center for non-toxic lithography innovation. Her educational background includes the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University, the University of New Mexico, and Tamarind Institute of Lithography.
Rhodes specializes in sustainable printmaking methods, particularly non-toxic Century Plate lithography, which she has pioneered through material development and technique refinement. Her expertise extends to silkscreen, woodcut, linocut, and traditional lithography, which she teaches globally via workshops at institutions like Brandeis University and Zea Mays Printmaking.
Her 2019 publication addresses advancements in eco-friendly lithography, consolidating her research into accessible educational material. Awards include grants from the British Arts Council, Dublin City Council, and residencies like the Lower East Side Printshop Key Holder Program. She has juried for the Massachusetts Cultural Council and exhibits artwork internationally across North America and Europe.
