Corey Clapp is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry at Princeton University, located in Frick Laboratory. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Amherst College (2011) and a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard University (2019). His doctoral research focused on stratospheric chemistry and convectively induced ozone loss. As a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Associate at Harvard, he expanded his work to global extreme weather patterns and climate change impacts. His research sits at the intersection of chemistry, meteorology, and climate, with expertise in chemistry-climate modeling and large-scale data analysis.
Education:
- B.A. in Chemistry, Amherst College, 2011
- Ph.D. in Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Harvard University, 2019
Research interests emphasize atmospheric chemistry, climate modeling, and interdisciplinary approaches to understanding environmental systems. His work addresses pressing issues such as ozone depletion mechanisms, climate change impacts on weather systems, and advanced analytical methodologies in spectroscopy.
