Coralie Duchemin is a CNRS Researcher Fellow at the UMR 6226 research unit, part of the Institut des Sciences Chimiques de Rennes (University of Rennes). Her research focuses on developing homogenous catalysts based on abundant metals for dual metal/photoredox catalysis, targeting selective catalytic transformations. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland) and a Master's in Organic Chemistry from École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand (France).
Her work emphasizes rational design of catalytic processes through organometallic synthesis and mechanism studies. Key research areas include iron- and rhodium-catalyzed reactions, enantioselective methodologies, and catalyst development for feedstock chemicals. Publications highlight advancements in catalytic selectivity, such as [2+2] cycloadditions, hydrovinylation, and C-H activation strategies.
Prior roles include postdoctoral research at Princeton University (Chirik group) and the University of Lyon (Amgoune group), as well as teaching assistantships at EPFL. Industry experience includes research at Spirochem AG and Bayer CropSciences.
