Constantina Costopoulou

Constantina Costopoulou is a Professor at the Informatics Laboratory of the Department of Agricultural Economics & Rural Development at the Agricultural University of Athens. She holds a BSc in Mathematics from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an MSc in Software Engineering from Cranfield University, and a PhD in Informatics from the National Technical University of Athens. Her research focuses on the application of digital technologies to rural and agricultural sectors, including e-commerce, e-government, and data science tools like R programming for agricultural analysis.

She has contributed to over 120 publications and participated in funded projects related to her expertise. Her work emphasizes bridging informatics with agricultural economics, particularly through teaching courses on programming, internet applications, and e-services in agriculture. Currently, she serves as a key faculty member in the Informatics Laboratory, mentoring students and advancing digital solutions for rural development.
