Conor Fallon

Conor Fallon is a Researcher at the Berlin University of Technology (BHT), affiliated with the interdisciplinary research network Data Science and Text-based Information Systems (DATEXIS). He contributes to the COMFORT project, which develops AI platforms for improved diagnosis of kidney and prostate cancer through computational models.

His work focuses on adapting general language models like ChatGPT to process multilingual medical data, including radiological reports and patient records. The project, funded by the European Union with €3 million, involves collaboration with 14 international institutions and addresses challenges such as data privacy, limited patient datasets, and infrastructure development for secure data sharing.

The DATEXIS team, led by Prof. Dr. Alexander Löser, also includes Dennis Fast. Fallon emphasizes the marathon-like nature of AI development for clinical applications, with project completion planned by March 2027.
