Congcong Li is an Assistant Professor of Accounting and KPMG Faculty Fellow in Accounting at the Palumbo-Donahue School of Business, Duquesne University. She joined in 2019 after four years at Singapore Management University. Her expertise spans accounting, financial markets, and macroeconomic analysis.
Education: PhD in Accounting from University of Maryland, MA in Economics from Duke University.
Research focuses on information environments in capital markets, media influence, and macroeconomic implications of aggregate earnings. Published in top journals like Journal of Accounting and Economics, Management Science, and The Accounting Review. Serves on editorial boards of Journal of Accounting and Public Policy and International Journal of Accounting.
Awards include KPMG Faculty Fellowship (2024-2027), Best Paper Award (2018), and teaching excellence recognitions from University of Maryland and Singapore Management University.
Teaching interests include financial and managerial accounting. Active in editorial roles and interdisciplinary research collaborations.
