Colleen S. Mulholland

Colleen S. Mulholland, EdD is the Dean and Professor at the University of Northern Iowa College of Education. Her leadership focuses on strengthening student and faculty success through curricular innovation, organizational restructuring, and stewardship of institutional funding.

  • B.A. in Middle School Education (specialization: English language arts and social studies), University of Kentucky

Her research interests span curriculum development, instructional systems design, and educational leadership, with an emphasis on expanding pathways to teacher education. Prior to her academic roles, she taught middle and high school English language arts in Orange County Public Schools.
