Colleen Doody is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at DePaul University's College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences. Her research and teaching focus on 20th Century U.S. History, particularly labor and urban history.

Her research explores the intersection of labor movements, urban development, and conservative political ideology in the U.S. postwar era. She has authored significant works on Detroit's Cold War history, anticommunism, and the rise of modern conservatism.
Her publications include analyses of urban politics, secularism, and the socio-political dynamics shaping postwar America. She serves as Associate Chair of the History Faculty and contributes to academic discourse on political realignment and social movements.
