Colleen Burke serves as Executive in Residence and Director of the Skidmore-Saratoga Consulting Partnership within the Department of Management and Business at Skidmore College. She holds a key instructional and program leadership role, teaching core business courses while directing student consulting initiatives that connect academic work with real-world organizational challenges in the Saratoga Springs region.
Her primary research and teaching interests focus on practical business applications, with emphasis on strategic decision-making, organizational behavior, and consulting methodologies. Through courses like MB 107 (Business and Organization Management), MB 349 (Business Strategy), and MB 360 (Consulting: Practice, Process and Problem Solving), she develops students' analytical frameworks for business problem-solving and client engagement. Her approach integrates theoretical concepts with hands-on project experience through the Skidmore-Saratoga Consulting Partnership.
