Colin Turner is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Management at the Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. He holds a PhD (2003) from Leeds University, alongside earlier degrees in Economics and EU Studies. His research focuses on international infrastructure systems, political economy, and global business strategy. Key areas include how states adapt national infrastructure to regional/global pressures and the role of infrastructure in geo-strategy.
