Colin Smith

Colin Smith is Clinical Associate Professor of Health Management & Policy at Georgia State University's School of Public Health. With a DrPH from University of Georgia and 25+ years in public health practice, his expertise spans health policy, epidemiology, and geospatial analysis. Research examines health disparities, disease burden assessment, and population health planning.

As past GPHA President and APHA representative, he bridges research and policy. Recognized with teaching excellence awards, he holds CPH certification and membership in Delta Omega and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. Research methodologies include small-area health needs assessment and cost-effectiveness analysis.
