Colin M. Snider

Colin M. Snider is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of History at the University of Texas at Tyler, part of the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a B.A. in History, English Literature, and Spanish from Ohio Northern University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Latin American History with a minor in Indigenous history from the University of New Mexico. His international academic experience includes studies in Costa Rica and Brazil, along with extensive travel throughout Latin America.

Dr. Snider's research explores social and political dynamics in 20th-century Latin America, focusing on Brazil. Key themes include:
