Colin Jackson is an Associate Professor of Law and Associate Dean, Graduate Studies at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. His work focuses on tax law, policy, and administration, with additional expertise in business law and secured transactions.
- Education: PhD and LLM in Law from Dalhousie University; BCL/LLB from McGill University; BAppSc from University of Ottawa.
Research interests include Tax Administration, Tax Policy, Access to Justice, and Canadian Tax Law. He contributes to education-related UN Sustainable Development Goals through his academic work.
His publications address trends in tax system complexity, legal clarity, and pedagogical innovation in law schools. Courses taught include Taxation I, Secured Transactions, and Bankruptcy and Insolvency.
