Prof. Dr. Cok Bakker is a theologian, religious scholar, and educationalist at Utrecht University, where he serves as Professor of Didactics of Worldview Education. He is also a lecturer in Normative Professionalization at Utrecht University of Applied Sciences. His research explores the interplay between education and worldview across macro (policy), meso (institutional identity), and micro (teacher biography) levels. Since 2012, he has co-led a 20-researcher group at UU/HU focused on normative professionalization, examining how subjective, ethical factors shape professional practice.
