Clément Dessy

Clément Dessy is a Lecturer in Belgian, French, and Comparative Literatures at the Free University of Brussels, where he also serves as an FNRS Research Associate. His research explores text/image interactions, transnational literary networks, and cultural dialogues during the fin de siècle period.

• Leading ARC project on translation and fin-de-siècle magazines
• Co-founder of Symbolism/Decadence World Literature research network
• Co-editor of COnTEXTES journal and editorial board member of multiple literary publications

His work intersects with sexual identity studies and the co-constitution of literary canons and cultural identities.
