Clodia Osipo is Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine. Her research focuses on molecular mechanisms in breast cancer, particularly Notch signaling crosstalk with EGFR/HER2 pathways and therapeutic resistance. She investigates signaling pathways, biomarker evaluation, and novel therapeutic strategies for breast cancer subtypes.
Osipo's publications explore Notch signaling in triple-negative breast cancer, cancer-associated fibroblast transformation, gamma-secretase inhibitors, and receptor crosstalk mechanisms. Her work has implications for overcoming therapeutic resistance in ErbB-2-positive breast cancer through combined pathway targeting.
