Dr. Clodagh Harris is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Government and Politics at University College Cork (UCC), with affiliations to the Environmental Research Institute (ERI) and the Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine (MaREI). Her research focuses on deliberative and participatory democracy, democratic innovations, climate change policy, and intergenerational deliberation. She has secured over €4 million in external funding through projects like the EPA-funded 'IMAGINING 2050' and the Horizon 2020 'ENTRUST' initiative. Dr. Harris has advised numerous high-profile citizen assemblies, including Ireland’s Citizens’ Assembly on Biodiversity Loss (2022–23) and the Scottish Citizens’ Assembly (2019–2021).
