Elisa Minsart is a Research Fellow at the School of Social Sciences, Politics and Communication, supported by F.R.S-FNRS. Her research focuses on democratic innovations, climate governance, and political communication. She has led projects like Citizens' assemblies, but what for? (2023–2025) examining climate governance and Citizens' assemblies and democratic renewal (2021–2023) analyzing representative democracy dynamics. She has authored works on participatory budgeting, citizens' assemblies, and media representation of Islam.
Her academic activities include organizing the ABSP 2024 Congress and a doctoral seminar on democracy. She conducted research at Lancaster University (Jan–Mar 2024). Her work contributes to UN SDGs 16 (Peace, Justice) and 13 (Climate Action).
Recent publications span peer-reviewed journals and book chapters, addressing participatory governance and deliberative democracy. She has presented at 18 academic events, including public debates on media ethics.
