Clive Hedges is a Senior Lecturer in Education at Teesside University, affiliated with the Institute for Collective Place Leadership and the SSSHL Education, Teaching Training and Social Work department. He leads the Doctorate in Education program and has supervised 15 research degree completions, currently overseeing 6 doctoral students as Director of Studies and 5 as second supervisor. With a PhD from the Open University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching from Teesside University, his research focuses on simulated learning in higher education, critical theory applications (Goffman/Foucault/Massey), and children's rights advocacy.
