Clint Leonard is an Instructor at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing (VUSN), specializing in critical care nursing with a focus on burn injury management. He holds certifications in Adult Gerontologic Acute Care and Advanced Burn Life Support. His research explores virtual reality applications for burn pain control, innovative burn reconstructive surgery techniques, and firefighter safety practices. Leonard teaches in the PreSpecialty program and has developed burn care training for first responders, including U.S. Army medics and Guatemalan firefighters.
Education: MSN from Vanderbilt University (2014), BSN from University of Alabama (2009). Research interests include burn survivor peer mentorship programs and optimizing burn center referral criteria. He actively presents at national conferences, winning first prize at the 2016 Southern Region Burn Conference. Leonard is a member of the American Burn Association.
