Dr. Cate Enstrom is a full-time faculty member at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing (VUSN) since 2021, specializing in clinical education and cardiology critical care. She holds a DNP from Vanderbilt and teaches in the Master of Nursing and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) programs. Her clinical practice focuses on cardiac critical care at Centennial Medical Center. Dr. Enstrom's research interests include universal design in nursing education and strategies to enhance student success. She actively presents at conferences such as the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology.
Education: DNP (Vanderbilt University), MSN (Northeastern University), BSN (American International College), and AA (Bard College at Simon's Rock).
- Research Interests: Nursing education innovation, APP practice in critical care, advanced physiology, and patient-centered care.
