Clifford Young

Clifford Young is a Research Fellow at the University of South Australia (UniSA), based in the Clinical & Health Sciences school. His research focuses on mass spectrometry-based technologies, proteomics, and glycobiology, with applications in biomedical research, brewing science, and cancer biology. He has contributed to the development of MALDI-MSI protocols for spatial mapping of biomolecules in tissues and has explored the physiological roles of yeast strains in beer production. His work also includes studies on biomarkers for septic shock, colorectal cancer liver metastases, and metabolic stress responses in cells.
