معرفی
Dr. Clement Duvert is a Senior Research Fellow in Hydrology and Biogeochemistry at Charles Darwin University's Faculty of Science and Technology, part of the Research Institute for Environment and Livelihoods. His research focuses on isotope hydrology, stream carbon cycling, and water movement in tropical landscapes. He co-leads the Top End Hydrology Lab with Dr. Dylan Irvine. Dr. Duvert's work examines carbon transfer from soils to rivers and aquifers, with a focus on tropical environments.
He holds a PhD from Queensland University of Technology and has conducted research in Mexico on tropical river sediment transport. His current projects include quantifying greenhouse gas emissions from tropical streams and improving groundwater recharge models for Australia. He collaborates on initiatives like the North Australia Water CRC and leads grants such as DE220100852 (Breathing streams: integrating aquatic emissions into carbon budgets).
Research interests span ecohydrology, stream-groundwater interactions, and climate change impacts. He encourages prospective students with backgrounds in hydrology or biogeochemistry to contact him.
