Clemens Gühmann

Prof. Clemens Gühmann is a Professor for Electronic Measurement and Diagnostic Technology at Technische Universität Berlin since September 2003. He leads the Electronic Measurement and Diagnostic Technology department within Faculty IV. His academic roles include serving as Chairman of the Examination Board for the Master Automotive Systems program, Degree Program Officer for Automotive Systems and Electrical Engineering (teaching option), and Deputy Member of the Faculty Council.

Research focuses on diagnosis of mechatronic systems (bearings, electrical machines, transmissions), remaining useful lifetime prediction, and integration of data-based & physics-based modeling with machine learning. Teaching includes courses on measurement technology fundamentals, data processing, mechatronic system simulation, and automotive electronics.

Professional memberships include the Elektrotechnischer Verein (ETV) Berlin-Brandenburg, VDI/VDE-Gesellschaft committees on mechatronics, and AHMT academic working group. He actively participates in institutional governance across electrical engineering, education, and energy/automation institutes.
