Claudio Tennie is a German evolutionary anthropologist and behavioral biologist affiliated with the University of Tübingen as a Research Fellow leading the "Tools and Culture among Early Hominins" group. He holds a triple habilitation (2024) in prehistory, psychology, and behavioral biology. His career spans institutions including the University of Birmingham (2012-2017), Max Planck Institute (2004-2012), and Lincoln Park Zoo (2013-present).
