Claudio J. Margulis

Claudio J. Margulis is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Iowa, where he leads the Margulis Group. His research specializes in theoretical and computational studies of ionic liquids and molten salts, with applications in clean energy technologies like nuclear reactors, solar energy capture, batteries, and gas sequestration. He holds a Licenciado en Ciencias Químicas from Universidad de Buenos Aires, a PhD from Boston University, and completed postdoctoral training at Columbia University.
