معرفی
Claude Emond is an Associate Professor at the Université de Montréal's School of Public Health, affiliated with the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health. His research focuses on occupational/environmental risk assessment, physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling, and nanotoxicology. He has led multiple grants addressing nanoparticle safety guidelines, pesticide policy analysis, and aging workers' exposure limits.
Research Expertise:
- Quantitative exposure assessment methodologies
- PBPK modeling for chemical/toxicant dynamics
- Nanomaterial safety protocols development
- Endocrine disruptor effects on reproductive health
- Age-related physiological variability in toxicity
Recent Research Projects (2010-2019):
- Quebec nanotechnology mapping (2010-2013)
- Guideline development for carbon nanotube handling (2012-2013)
- Integrated nanosafety programs (2011-2013)
- Glyphosate herbicide policy analysis (2017-2019)
Grants & Collaborations: Over 8 funded projects from agencies including IRSST, FRQNT, and Quebec Ministry of Economy. Active partnerships with industry (Raymor Industries) and regulatory bodies.
Lab Activities: Involved in interdisciplinary teams studying environmental epidemiology, toxicokinetics, and occupational hygiene through collaborative research networks like RESEAUTETE.
