Dr. Clara Leitgeb is an experimental particle physicist affiliated with the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (HU) as a Staff Scientist since 2024 and a member of the ATLAS and LHCf collaborations. Her research bridges high-energy physics and cosmic ray studies through simulations and cross-section measurements.
- Current Research: Soft hadronic interactions, air shower phenomenology, forward detector simulations
- Past Projects: Supersymmetry searches, tau-flavored dark matter, tau identification calibration
- Coordination Roles: ATLAS soft QCD convener, DESY-HU astroparticle coordinator, workshop organizer
Since 2021, she has contributed to astroparticle/particle physics synergy efforts at HU/DESY. She has also engaged in public outreach since 2017 through Netzwerk Teilchenwelt masterclasses and CERN tours.
