Claire Wakefield

Associate Professor Claire Wakefield is affiliated with the Behavioural Sciences Unit at the Kids Cancer Centre, The University of New South Wales. She held a Diamond Jubilee International Visiting Fellowship at the University of Southampton from 2016 to 2019. Her research focuses on interventions for families affected by childhood or parental cancer, recovery patterns in younger breast cancer survivors, and decision-making support for patients. She collaborates across health sciences, medicine, psychology, and computer science, aiming to enhance health outcomes and wellbeing.
