Claire Daviss is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She holds a PhD in Sociology from Stanford University (expected 2023) and a BA in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University (2014). Her research focuses on gender, labor markets, and organizational processes, particularly how structural elements of hiring influence disparities in employment decisions. She uses administrative and experimental data to advance theories of social stratification and inform equitable hiring practices.
