Claire Barrett is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Human Development & Family Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s School of Human Ecology. Her work bridges teaching, clinical practice, and research to address social determinants of health and well-being. She focuses on equity-centered pedagogy, community-based research methods, and fostering student well-being through engaged learning.

Her scholarship integrates ecological models of mental health across individual and population levels.
