Cinzia Gabellini

Cinzia Gabellini is a Digital Learning Specialist at the Center for Learning, Teaching and Research at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), a position she has held since 2012. She also serves as Co-leader of the Special Interest Group SIG OER of Swiss universities since 2024. Her work focuses on advancing digital teaching competencies and promoting Open Educational Resources (OER). She has led projects such as the 23 Digital Things initiative aimed at enhancing digital skills among educators.

Cinzia holds a Master's degree in Adult Education from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. She also holds several certificates, including Creative Commons for Educators, Blended Learning Practice, and E-Learning and Digital Cultures from Coursera. Additionally, she has certifications in Educational Media, Adult Education, and is a federally certified computer scientist.

She co-organizes events like the Open Education Week and the OER Conference in Switzerland. Her work extends to managing newsletters and contributing to institutional development through her role at HSLU.

She is part of the Center for Learning, Teaching and Research at HSLU, collaborating on initiatives to enhance educational practices through digital innovation and OER advocacy.
